HVAC Technician
As a Home Comfort Specialist, you’ll help homeowners stay comfortable year-round by installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems. You’ll diagnose issues, recommend the best solutions, and deliver exceptional service with professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits.
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups to maximize system performance.
- Diagnose equipment issues and provide accurate, long-lasting repairs.
- Explain system performance and repair options clearly to homeowners.
- Recommend energy-efficient upgrades and indoor air quality solutions when appropriate.
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate job records.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and professional appearance.
- Deliver outstanding customer service on every visit.
Qualifications
- Experience servicing and installing residential HVAC equipment.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred or required, depending on role).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift equipment and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
